I have still not found the logic of slowly increasing the Notam. And this is the second time we are doing this in recent months.

Is it to keep people guessing each time we do a missile test? Like, next time even if we give notam for small range, they may expect we will increase its range at a later date.

Is it purposefully done to gain attention? Because each time, airlines and ships have to make changes to their plans? But would be pretty annoying for them considering the amount of traffic that goes through there.

Is it to force the airline traffic to always go through Indian landmass above Orissa, even when we are testing a low range missile?
